British Invention of 2006 Double Gold Award winner Safe T Light; combines the night light and torch and remains lit during a power failure - emergency lighting for the home



The Safe T Light is a multi functional emergency light that achieves 5 objectives: - A night light that gives low level lighting during darkness hours - An emergency power-failure light so if the mains power fails during darkness the Safe T Light remains lit for 8 hours - The provision of a safety light - no need to search for a torch - the Safe T Light 'torch' can be removed from its base - A re-charger for a number of Safe T Light torches - An instantaneous emergency lighting system for the home, without the need for special installation, using only 3 watts of power and leaving the socket free to use.

SafeT Light uses LED technology so is energy efficient, safe for children's rooms and there are no bulbs or batteries to replace. Safe T Light is versatile in use whether it is for the elderly or disabled where safety is their priority with the knowledge they will 'never' be left in the dark. SafeT Light has another important application, in conjunction with smoke alarms: In the event of a fire it is likely that the power will have failed, therefore if it is night-time the occupants of the house would have no light; SafeT Light would be lit, low down below smoke level and offer a detachable safety light with which to exit the building.
